“ First time in, quite busy, during the week and at dinner time. The hostess quickly sat us and shortly Anthony, our server, came by with menus. As we decided on our entrees we noticed Anthony was the only server in the floor at the time of our visit. About 5 minutes later he took our orders and as we waited I noticed the restaurant had a large indoor area as well as ample outside dining space where dogs could accompany their owners, nice touch for those that don't want to leave their dogs at home. We ordered a Mediterranean bread basket for the table with balsamic vinegar and oil to dip our bread in. Shortly afterwards our entrees came out and they looked delicious. I enjoyed the vegetable kabob with a side of Mediterranean Greek salad and bulgar wheat. The veggies were cooked and braised to perfection. They were juicy, firm (but not overly so) and so tasty. The salad was fresh and the dressing was on point. Bulgar wheat was a good choice too, not too starchy. Hubby loved his meal and we both decided this place would be perfect for both of us to add in to our dinner rotation. Anthony, you were quick, pleasant and never made us feel rushed even with how busy you were. Thank you! We can't wait to see you again! ”
“ Panini is soooo delicious! I'm from LA but this is our go to spot when we are in town for some good Mediterranean food! The family style meal is perfect for a family of 4-6. Comes with 2 salads which I did not take a picture of haha and 3 skewers of chicken (we substituted 1 skewer for koobideh) on top of some basmati rice and veggies. Outside seating is the best here especially when the sun is setting. The servers are nice and are always attentive. Service is great as usual! ”
“ This is one of my all time favorite places to eat. The food is always delicious. My go to is the chicken kabob plate with the basmati rice and Mediterranean salad. My friends had the salmon kabob plate with the basmati rice and the avocado salad and the strawberry date salad. The portions are great. Everything was amazing. The bathrooms are always a challenge seems like I've been a few times where they've had a flood. Staff is friendly. And it's always busy here. I also love ordering the family meal because it's great for meal prepping for the week and it's healthy. The prices used to be really reasonable for the family meal but looks like they have almost doubled in the last year. Definitely worth trying if you've never been. ”
“ Panini Kabob Grill is one of those places I visited when I first moved to San Diego 4 years ago and it became part of my routine. I was first introduced through Yelp events but I kept coming back because it's so convenient and consistent. The portions are generous and everything has been delicious. Best part - I love that I can enjoy my meal with my dog on their patio, it keeps me coming back for sure. It's even heated this time of year and protected from the wind. ”
“ This place is always amazing and delicious! When I'm in the area I really enjoy and love coming here. You definitely get a different experience every time and it could be the service (which is always great) or the food (which has never disappointed). I got a cup of the chicken vegetable soup and it was so delicious. It comes with a side of bread that is soft and the soup was not salty at all. I also got a chicken pesto panini and a Greek salad. Very good and filling. I enjoy trying new things off their menu. And we also got the Beef Koobideh Kabob plate (definitely can share that with two people). They have indoor and outdoor seating. If you decide to sit outdoor they have a lot of heating lamps that will keep you warm. The service is great. They always check up on you and they always bring what you need on time. If you haven't been here yet you should definitely check it out soon! ”
“ I finally stopped in here after my friend told me the kabobs are good. I would agree after my experience. It is conveniently located in the same parking lot as Trader Joe's which makes it a little hard for parking, depending on when you go. The restaurant has a nice large patio area and a slightly smaller inside area. We were seated rather quickly and while our server was quick to take our order, the actual food took a little longer to come out. I ordered the salmon kabobs per my friend's recommendation and my dining partner ordered the chicken kabobs. I was surprised at the large portion size, generous servings of salad, rice and grilled veggies. I really liked everything and would say my only tiny comment would be that the veggies were a little too grilled for my liking. The prices were also decent for the amount of food that you get. ”
“ I've been trying to come and eat here. Service is Fantastic, Lorenzo was very patient and helpful with all my questions. All the food that passed me by looked amazing. It's a busy place but it's nice and clean. I would highly recommend it. ”
“ Overall just a really solid and fresh meal. I went for the chicken kabob plate with rice and salad and was pleasantly surprised. I didn't even realize it was a chain until afterwards, it felt more like a local spot. Friendly staff and fast service. I've both dined in and done takeout and both experiences were positive. Service while dining in is also pretty good too even though it is more of a fast casual spot. Super easy parking at the Mission Valley location. Looking forward to the opening of their new North County san diego location. ”
